I am sick of the expensive prices for parts (mainly the freight component) from Japan and the US.
So later this year i plan to make a replica STI front lip for my 09 Lib 2.5i and various different versions of it (just so i dont get sued for copyright lol).
I have a mate who owns a moulding and casting shop so i have no shortage of different materials at my disposal!
I would like to experiment with the following materials for the finished products:
-Fibreglass
-Carbon Fibre
-Polyurethane resin (is light, stiff yet flexible under forcefull pressure)
-or a combo of these
On very rough calculations i think i could make these for round the $450 mark (but don't quote me on that!)
Just wanting peoples opinions/suggestions on this
Who knows, if it works well i might try other parts as well.
Thanks Guys and Gals
Tristan
