Where do i start?

well. i purchased around may/june last year from a private seller. The car was pretty much stock, it just came with a sony amp n sub (removed it the next day). This car was bit different to the other liberty i see on the road.

The car was a 2006 model that meant to be 'limited' it came with Sti lip spoiler, those special material for the seats with red lining, don't know what else is different

After a few months, my first modifcation for the car was HID lights which my friend got me. 8000k HID was just not enough visibility because the visble distance isn't too great. So i do plann to get some 6000k later on down the road. also changed the parkers and number plate lights to Raybrig white bulbs.

Just one or 2 weeks later, I thought it was be awesome to take the resonator. But then since I'm doing something to the intake, i want to just do it right the first time :o So I got my saving together and spent on a Flatt Racing, cold air intake and with the extra $100 left, i purchased a set of Sti, Stainless Steel Pedal Set and started teaching myself heel and toe :D

I have researched and couldn't find much bolt on exhaust parts for the 2.0R NA. But couple of months flew by, and i found some bolt exhaust for my car.

It is a rear axle back duel outlet exhaust. Currently saving up for the centre pipe.

YESTERDAY. Saw 2 boxes outside my house and quickly opened them :P haha

Stuff from the other box

Before i was poor and only manage to afford half of 柿本改 Kakimoto Racing exhaust setup. After waiting for 2months, this had finally appeared. Now the catback is finally completed. Inlet from the cat side is 70mm and the outlet to the rear axle is 60mm.

nice work!

did the intake make much of a difference? Be sure to upload a soundclip for us. Really wanna hear this!

Sorry to hi-jack but can any explain to me the benefits of that chamber before the throttle body. look at these intakes to see what i mean

http://www.flatt-racing.com/pages.html/ ... ntake.html

I know it's meant to improve response.. But does it really? So would having a straight pipe form the throttle to the filter be worse than stock?

Difference, i think so. Well the rev climb much 'free er' haha i will try to do a soundclip of it over this weekend.

Guess what's in the boxes :P mmm well, you guessed one of them LOL it's a Flatt Racing, intake chamber.

I'm noob, so i don't know much either. But resonance would be one as the stock plastic one is THICKass, and there are stuff inside, this one is all empty inside, so more intake noise?? Probably more response as well. Well i will write more about it once i have installed it on the car.

LOL  actually it's not loud at all. It is more like stock, you can hear it when you full throttle but noise level is not overly loud.

Good work buddy 8)

Just curious to know why you thought 8000K HIDs were too white? Yes, the light output gets less as the kelvin goes higher, but it also gets bluer/purplier as well. 8000K should be purpleish, 6000K (my one) is blueish. The best K for light output, and closest to OEM HIDs, is 4300K.

Thanks :) ya actually that's right, it is close to icy blue kind of colour, i think 6000k is perfect. i will probably get it later down the road.

please post more pics. If memory serves me correctly, you used to have a euro (pretty sure it was a graphite pearl lux nav with euro r grill)?. I used to go to a couple of euro meets on ozhonda a long while ago :D .

If the liberty is modded anything like the euro, then this will probably be one of the best looking 2.0R's around.

Good post! It's good to know there are more 2.0 NA owners out there willing to mod. It lets other 2.0 owners what's available to them.

Good luck with the umm.... bubble wrap? You're one of the few posters I know that post the packaging instead of the part. :D I'm guessing you plan to unveil what they wrap later on?
