Hey! I understood most of the words.

Mick brings the science to club.lib. It's lost on most of us, but i'm still glad he does it none the less. 8)

Honestly Micks thread(s) is something that keeps me coming back to the forum - as he's discovered (through blood sweat and tears), the actual information available on the technical minutiae of engines is few and far between - and when it IS there, it's sometimes wrong (and sometimes obviously laughably wrong) - and sometimes critically, engine explodingly wrong.

Getting this sort of detail is what helps people to understand what's REALLY going on - and in an engine like a dual AVCS EJ207, there's a lot going on.

Thanks Matt and Troy - wouldn't say the findings / theories / opinions I post are always correct, but I like to throw practical explanations of how things intertwine and affect outcomes etc

Will continue to share whenever possible

Dear Micheal,

Would you be be able provide your power levels at various points whilst including all relevant variables?

It's some what relevant in my interests.

Also would you say the safe limit of a preface-lift gen4 i.e ej20 variant is approximately 220awkw whilst been semi-reliable?

Sorry if I don't make sense, I don't think you understand how drunk and high I am.

Sorry if I caused you any inconvenience.

Kelvin.

P.S I think you are probably the smartest person I've ever met.

Put the pipe down, kamal

Wtf u on about

You know the answers to all those questions

As for power at various points - pretty simple way to summarize is nugget from idle to 3500rpm and decent thereafter

Ej20x/y safe limit is 200awkw if you ask me

I had a rough idea of the answers, it was to do with some big claims made by certain people on the facebook page who I suspect are full of shit.

You wouldn't happen to know the part number on your Spec C coils would you?
I am curious to see if it is a different number to that of the STI coils. I suspect I need new coils but I don't feel like paying 1100 bucks for Okada ones.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Thanks. I should have added don't pull them out on account of me. It is one of the worst Subaru related jobs.
Out of curiosity, do you run an extra earth? I added a big ass one from the battery -ve to the block and it made a noticeable difference to a lot of things! I will add another big one to the body when I get the time and inclination.
