There is that option too.

My point however is that high powered modified cars don't make for good reliable daily drivers.
A car like a lib with a 300awkw tune and 400kw build would not be a pleasant drive in traffic.
Looks nice Bruce ! A liberty with decent power with minimal mods is a hoot to drive IMO.
C63 at the wheels from actory is ?? Same across all c63s from 2009?
I agree a liberty with decent power is a hoot to drive. I had one with ultimately I got 214kws and it was great with all the suspension mods etc.
But with little things going wrong such as OCV's, cam gears, popping off hoses, knocking Bilsteins, shagged LCAs, drivetrain lash, the list goes on....
Then there was the tuning, till I got to MSR, and the logging effort made ownership a bit of a chore to keep it all functioning in top running condition.
With a busy work and family life it just became too much for ME..
The C63 from 2009 was available in a few different specs. I have one with the performance pack with forged internal from the SLS, the auto MCT is rated at 800HP and the car produces 358kws via an AMG modified tune. Also comes with a AMG factory LSD to get power down via 265 rear rubber. On a dyno they produce 309-315kws at the wheels.
I'm a bit of a realist with some of this stuff. If anyone asks me these days about what to do to the lib, I generally tell them to get the suspension sorted, dump pipe and tune and enjoy the car. Cosmetics mods are cool too. But these big power builds on the EJ25 engines are a big waste of money IMHO.
