Awesome stuff!
Will be keen to see which way you go.
What are the plans for the auto? Trans cooler only or some strengthening as well considering there will be a little more torque down low from the 2.5ltr?

Thanks Archie; going to find a newer 5AT and strengthen it I think.
Although, my Foz seemed to handle the power I was putting through it; though the VF52 is a bit smaller than the VF56 afaik...

07+ 5EAT is incompatible. Different ratios(no Trans ECU access to retune ratios either) plus different wiring loom.

Hexmods Valve body will firm it up though. It is possible to get BRUTAL firm shifts

Yep different ratios but if you swap rear diff, tailshaft and axles it will work. Post facelift Tcu can also be made to work ;)

Also - hexmods vb isn't yet available for post facelift 5eat as far as I know

Nope not available. The bloke in Murica hasn't got a postFL test car yet. That's why Matt's saying to just do the valve body mod for Sean's current 5EAT, it will be more than enough for 225kw. And cheaper too :)

Very nice, gotta be happy with those. What are the spring rates out of interest?

USDM Pre and Post TCU were compatible, since same rev limit. PostFL in a 2L would have it shifting before peak power

Oh damn I just saw this

Car interior was mostly in pieces for the day.

Finally finished amp and f & r speakers install woohoo!!

Really happy with the end result but needs sound deadening and proper sealing but that can wait

On the down side, I've worked out just how bad the intake avcs is: at idle right is at 45-54* while the left is 0. Time to re-read BBB's thread for the fix

Cam issue fixed: a tiny chunk of metal had made it's way into the solenoid and gotten lodged leaving it suck. That's out and fixed but it still idles like crap :?

A new front O2 sensor is in the way for Japan Parts, I'm hoping that is the end of it
