Pretty easy to mount to the front bar. You can take the front bar off if you like, but i just did mine on the car.

That's what I'll do with mine. Just need to find a quality lip now. Is your PU or plastic?

With the PU one, you really don't have to be. Provided you aren't ramming your lip on driveways and that sort of thing, a PU will hold up just fine. Mine came bent from the States and I thought that it was so bent it had to be broken, so I sent it back. I was wrong though, it just needed to be reshaped which can be done out in the sun.
The finish (in terms of the feel and keeping its shape) of the genuines is better. But I'd argue that the durability on the PUs is far superior.
