Good to know.

Who did you buy your lip spoiler through?

I bought mine off a member.. mine was used when i bought it.

Pretty easy to mount to the front bar. You can take the front bar off if you like, but i just did mine on the car.

That's what I'll do with mine. Just need to find a quality lip now. Is your PU or plastic?

Mines a genuine sti lip. Its hard, so I'd assume its plastic... not sure though. Ive knocked it a couple of times and its been fine. Durability is more of an issue with lowered cars id imagine.

Yeah I'd assume that too. Although I'm pretty careful when it comes to kerbs etc as it is now.

Shav,

With the PU one, you really don't have to be. Provided you aren't ramming your lip on driveways and that sort of thing, a PU will hold up just fine. Mine came bent from the States and I thought that it was so bent it had to be broken, so I sent it back. I was wrong though, it just needed to be reshaped which can be done out in the sun.

The finish (in terms of the feel and keeping its shape) of the genuines is better. But I'd argue that the durability on the PUs is far superior.

Thanks for the clarification. Good to know these things I guess. I'm best of not procrastinating about it though and just buy one from ultrex.

This was the ebay listing for the right postFL lip... Ended...
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130758370844 ... 1438.l2649

Searching: "08 09 10 Subaru Legacy PU Urethane" gets:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/08-10-STI-St ... 20dc133ff7
And
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/06-07-08-09- ... 2a374bb1b8
Edit the last one doesnt fit 2.5T GT B...

I really want one of these flexy PU lips as a trainer.

Thanks ben, im not sure if the last one will fit my car. My car isn't a spec b but going by the picture it doesnt match my front bar either.

Rob from ultrex told me his lip spoilers are now PU. so even though his are more expensive I believe his will fit according to his web description.

Mine came with fixings, but if yours doesn't you could just use self tappers.
