Excellent advice.
Start with a tbe and a retune (check out some kido tuned cars). Fuel pump and turbo inlet, and bov next. You should be hitting 170atw. You'll then know if you want more or not - and you've only spent 2k and you've paved the way for a turbo upgrade. A good turbo won't work well without those mods, but the mods will work without the turbo, until you decide.
I'd recommend a blouch for ease of fitting....
First thing to do - check out a stock tune from kido tuning, I'm not tuned by matt, but he has helped alot and I certainly don't support people I don't believe in. This guy has probably the best stock auto tune, without a dyno and a massive dyno bill. Speaking from experience.
