I am spoilt to have my tuner so close to home - only about a 1 hour drive. I wasnt aware that you VIC guys were so strapped for good tuners and can completely understand Ben and your desire to teach yourselves how to do it. Much braver people than i am

I think an even more important thing for people that dont wish to tune themselves and/or are willing to trust your tuners is to learn a bit more about safe timing, AFR's and safe boost levels for your car. If you have a good tuner and you convey your personal safe levels to them, then youre a long way towards the commonly thrown around term now "safe tune"

Although all we can really do is minimise the chances of it going bang... modifying any car in any way is always a risk
