Not sure about anyone else, but for the last 8 plus years I have put up with having to use my hand on the number plate area or on top of the boot lid spoiler to close the boot. In my wife's Impreza Hatch, there is a convenient hand grip integrated into the interior moulded cover. Why was that not done on the Libertty Sedans?
Anyway, got myself a tacky piece of nylon strap that was laying around the garage, cut out two holes, one at each end and you can see the shitty, but effective result:



So, for comparison, the Impreza integrated hand grip below:

It is nicely integrated into the rear hatch and no reason why they could not have done something similar for the Liberty Sedan.
Looking for any other solutions that other members have used. And lots of pics and part numbers as my attempt is just a temporary fix.
