How low is TOO low?

I have an 08 spec.b wagon which is rolling on STI spoked wheels. I really like the look of my pride and joy but cant help but think maybe it would look better a little lower. If I was to lower It, how low would you go?

Thanks. My last liberty was around the 100mm mark and I found it just a little too impracticle for a daily...now that im a little more mature im more going for looks than anything without going over the top. Having the guard just sitting over the top of the tyre? Any thoughts?

I find the Tein S-techs are practical height for low.

Guard on tyre would be perfect IMO, or even 10mm higher than guard for slightly more practicality.
Having the guard sitting at tyre height (with a 225/40/18) in the rear with my wagon, gives you approx 95mm clearance at the exhaust's lowest point, if you have a 3".
Having the front at tyre height would definitely be less than 100mm

thats one good thing about having bigger wheels like 19's. you can look lower (tyre to guard gap) without having to go as low to the ground as you would be with 18's.

Screwing a midget is as low as I have ever gone . It feels strange to suck toes at the same time

Standard centre pipe just before the rear axle scrapes on some speed bumps.
Lip reasonably unscathed due to being careful entering driveways and what not.

Rear suspension travel greatly reduced, can get a little uncomfortable over some bumps and dips.

Balls how the rear wheels tuck forward when squatting, looks stupid IMO.

I have no front lip though and I drive carefully on driveways and speed humps.

I disagree. I think going to large wheels means it looks sillier unless you go even lower. I think the ratio of fender gap to tyre sidewall makes even normal size gaps with low profile tyres look funny.

Note how (IMO) when you put larger rims on a stock ride height car, it looks more in need of being lowered than it did with stock rims.

Or make steel ramps from 12mm chequer plate steel like I did but it still grazes just a little

And they are "only" 7.5 wide....?? What's the offset?? You don't seem to have that silly tuck into the side of the car with the standard offset rims.
