Some progress

Dumped the fuel, refilled full tank of fresh eflex. Seemed to make it run better which was good.

Idle is still hovering around 14.5-15.2:1, which I think is excellent for id2000's which don't generally idle at stoich, especially without maf scaling. Not perfect but a damn good job by Matt and I'd like to think myself (thanks to tips from another master, tony - thank you to both of you)

Made a decision to sell the post facelift 5eat setup (see for sale section for those interested)

Going to buy another 5eat from a preface GT and depending on what happens on the dyno in the next couple of days, will either build the spare one up or replace the one in my car with the one i buy and rebuild my current one.

I know at the very least I can tune my car to 250-260atw with the current box so that's my worst case which isn't too bad until I build the spare one up right?

Once box is built I'm turning boost up - like really up :)

Yep can't wait

Kind of spewing I didn't do drop in larger cams while motor was out but maybe these might be enough to get me to low 11's once box is done

can't see this being a 10 second car unless I do a full bottom end build which I'm not about to do at this stage

However - since ill be driving this car til it falls apart I think, maybe in a few years the engine can come back out for some treatment and crack 400atw and 10's.

Until then it will be a cool daily and track car :)

Ok so I've given instruction to tune to only 21/22 psi and keep it under 280 or so atw for now

Thought about it and its not worth pushing the stock box through the ringer for the sake of a few more (unreliable) kw's

Will go back once my box is built and tune to 28psi

GB yep eflex (e70-75)

Tony - you're right I've gone soft :(

I think 21/22 psi should be plenty to keep me pacified for now - keep in mind I've been driving an xtrail for 3 months so the rate of change will be significant :)

Hopefully box build underway shortly
