No, when the car is in motion it will not be sucking hot air - when your car is moving, it will push the cold ambient air in. It is only sucking in hot air when the car is stationary.

My point Mr Tang is the excessive / extra heat from idle stationary and or slow speed driving will not have enough induction flow to create a cool enough effect for the intake to actually be of any benefit? yet it will be sucking in more hot air maybe Vs the oem setup and therefore going backwards in performance ( forgetting about the awesome noise that the intake makes )

Nice mate. I personally would have gone for something black to match the rest of your engine bay but looks solid.
