kiahatsiu wrote:IMHO a dom 1.5 is a bit too big for the 2.0. I am running a CBRD BBK-l RB (only because i like products with long acronyms), which is pretty much the same deal as the 1.5 but with a slightly smaller compressor. Look at some of the graphs in my build thread to get an idea of the spool, and that is with bigger diameter headers and up pipe on it.

Correct, I will be addressing this but want to get it all on and 'run it up' before 2.5L of built long motor goes in .

These headers are alleged to provide some lag compensation, I'll see soon enough.

When the auto kicks back (we know it likes to do this) to 5,000rpm I want it in its power band then, not coming out of it as it is now with the standard turbo.

Initiated cat back exhaust, waiting for around 3 weeks, coz SMB are busy.

2.5inch rear 400mm mufflers with offset entry and centre exit, single 2.5 ID rolled back tips, 3 inch center pipe with 4 inch round 500mm long resonator/muffler.

Deep and quiet is the brief, cant wait to see how it sounds.....

But I like it lots n great gulping on hot days

WA standard plates r Enormous...they make me sad..........although if you bend the bottom edge forwards it generates 2g down force and will remove feet at mid shin of unwary pedestrians ....

Not chasing numbers, just trying a new parts combo that sounds about right to me for a daily with good power and the ability to survive a bad batch of fuel.

Although the auto may need beefing, I know a guy who is happy to take this on locally... :)
