Although the PW intercooler is stupidly wide so may be why it does haha!

Kobe ones are more OEM width if I'm not mistaken.
There's also the Hyperflow metal half cut, I've contemplated those for when I do my tmic.

The engine cover traps air and forces it in to the TMIC. Apparently it makes a bit of a difference. I will try confirm it with logging when I get around to cutting my cover.

The combination of the underbonnet duct which seals around the engine cover, which in turn seals around the TMIC forces all incoming are through the TMIC.

Without the cover you will be allowing air to bypass the cooler.

With a bigger TMIC and retaining the standard underbonnet duct, you miss areas of the larger TMIC which leads to areas on the IC that arent cooled efficiently.

Some good info there thanks Mark! I had considered getting the zerosports aftermarket duct but again I guess this isnt any good with the standard engine cover anyway. Stuff I can start to think about in the coming weeks as the turbo goes on and such. By the way Mark I have a plan to take a holiday, just so I can take by brembos off and send them to you to be re finished! If I cant drive the car to work every day I'll just go on a trip so it can sit in the driveway while they get done. This is what us WA boys (and girls) need to resort to!

Top ones are freakin mauve, no where near pink!

If you "have" to have some *pink in there, the bottom black calipers with *pink decals are best.

(*pink it is, not cherry bloody blossom red........)
