Removing rear subframe bushes

Just wondering if anyone might have any suggestions on how to remove the rear subframe bushes that the diff studs bolt through??? (see pic below)I've tried the hammer, and also pulling them out with a large bolt through some steel but the bush is too squishy! Does it need to be cut out?? Hopefully it doesn't need a special press to reinstall....

easy one.

Hacksaw, take blade out, put blade through hole, put blade back on end of hacksaw, and cut through the steel bush insert...Then cold chisel it out.

Depends on the bush you are putting in though, measure OD carefully to see if replacement goes into subframe holes, or just replaces that rubber only and the bush stays in.

In that case, use a butane burner after cutting out the rubber with aformentioned hacksaw, and burn the fuck out of it and scrape out the shit smoulded rubber.

Thanks for the help kiks, ended up taking the diff out completely then cutting the rubber bush out with a hole saw. Cut the steel sleeve a few times with my baby recip saw and then belted the suckers out.

Now just hoping the freezer can shrink the steel collars on the new bushes enough for them to fit in, since my little screw press looked like it was f^%cking them up trying to push them into the frame.

At work we have press tools that fit on the outer ring of the bushes and if we can find a nice high tensile bolt we can press out in car, if not then the whole subframe needs to come out to be pressed out on the workshop press.
