Well I have been busy the past few weeks! In between trying to finish off an EP recording and work and the rest I manage to try and spend a few hours attacking the car and bombarding Jacks-GTB with more and more questions
But finally after some persuasion I got my inlet pipe in!

Its a very snug fit, basically no room for anything else around there, Nice sound on spool up but a bit of backfire so I'm gonna need a tune sooner rather than later. On this particular day I had no luck with the intercooler. The TB hose blew off basically right away, then I realised the ring on the other side of the hose
After taking that off and basically working slowly getting things done up about half way at a time and making sure the angle of the TB hose was right, I eventually got the cooler on and secure.

Let this be a lesson to anyone changing their TMIC!!!! The turbo flange threads are very soft! My friend who was helping me almost completely stripped one of them very easily! I was lucky there was enough thread left to get a tight seal on that side though I wouldnt trust it if I took it off again. Lucky I have my new turbo to put on with un-tainted threads. Make sure you align it well and hand screw it FIRST before powering down with the socket wrench.
I have decided I'll let Maximum Motorsport change the turbo over, then get it tuned within that week. Hopefully see some figures by the end of the month!
Then it's suspension time
