The Heathcote Caltex is near work, the Kirrawee Caltex is around the corner from the girlfriends place!

Not sure but isn't E85 a United product only? I think the Caltex product is called EFlex and isn't suitable for our cars as we don't have a flexible fuel sensor.
Might be worth checking again.

Note that this introduces approx a 5% error into your AFRs, which is not significant and compensated for anyway.

I assume by his post it would be fine to run E-flex even though they have a seasonal blend

I think that's the problem with the change from 70-85% ethanol depending on season, a tuned car for E85 I would think would have problems and see a fair amount of correction in timing etc.
A car like the Commodore has a flex fuel sensor can adjust to the changes in the Eflex blend whilst our cars don't have a sensor and therefore would just start pinging etc.
That' my understanding.

Bruce's experience is proof of the value of doing so. I note he was ridiculed when he first started checking his car, but it now appears to have been a good move.
