Hi Daniel, I used to dabble in tint sprays, but they were messy and time consuming. Luckily it's all overlays nowadays, where you take a thick tinted piece of plastic tint film and apply it to your taillights. It's very durable and it's been 2 years now and it hasn't faded or gone dull.

Unfortunately the place I buy from in America don't have an application for the Gen III. Otherwise I would have offered! Sorry.
There is a product called VHT Nightshades that apparently works all right, I think it comes in a can...
I used this on my previous rides and it was ok. Not sure if they have changed the formula but it didn't come with any clear lacquer mixed in so the finish was very dull. You had to apply a finishing lacquer coat at the end to give it some shine. Otherwise your other alternative is to go a hobby store, and buy 'Transparent Smoke Tint' spray for hobby vehicles. Just like the VHT stuff but has clear lacquer mixed in so it has shine. Plus it's cheaper! A medium tint will run you about 2-3 cans.
But be sure to try eBay America first to see if other companies have the tint film application for the Gen III. The tint film is by the easiest and quickest. However be wary of the thickness of the film, as some companies sell thin film (pretty much the same as the ones used for glass) which will rip and tear when applied to plastic.
