Mini meet, Rob Roy this Sunday (5-Sep-2010)

there's an interclub hillclimb on at Rob Roy this coming Sunday.
I'm going to run my 3RB. (I'll be there anyway involved with running the event). If it's damp as expected, I may even get fastest outright time of the day

Feel free to drop in during the day for a look if you like. It's up near the Sugarload Reservoir, between Diamond Creek and Yarra Glen.

To find out how to get there, go to Google maps
and edit point A to where you are starting from.

Point B is near the rotunda where the Driver Briefing will be held. Your turn right off Clintons Rd between some farm buildings to get into the property. It will be signposted on Sunday.

Well that was certainly quite a good day, I only got up there at 12:30 but the weather was good all the way through until about 30 mins after it finished and it started pouring down but luckily I was driving home by then.
I'll let Ric fill you in on how he went but here are a few pics from the day, I took a few videos but I'll upload those later.

Yeah I just saved those for the videos, also I'm not some pro photographer.

It's lucky Kieran didn't arrive in the morning. I stuffed up my first two runs, spearing off the track at turn two both times.
I got three more runs in, but was being very careful in that spot each time, so didn't break 26 seconds yet. I'll have more info when I get the results

Yeah just checked camera and it was set to Halogen.
I don't use it much / care for it.
Bit of a waste of $400 really

Yeah I got 2 vids of you, not sure what program to use to encode it though so I can upload it in a smaller size.

Sign up to youtube. Then you can upload the full res video, and let them take care of compressing it
