I can attend any time, but again later the better.
And if Der Fuhrer  can't make 24th then I won't put that one up. Need someone to navigate and keep us out of trouble

My votes also count for 2 with the R32 guy coming.

No need for me to be along ;)
I was the only one who'd driven the first half of the last cruise, which is why I led that. I actually intended getting someone else to lead after Kinglake ;)
I've nevr driven this road up to Donna Buang, so it would be better if someone who has done took the lead this time :)

Anyone who has a CB and a passenger :D

The reason Oct-24 is out for me is that there's a "Club Challenge" hillclimb happening at Rob Roy that weekend. http://www.mgcc.com.au/robroy/index.shtml
I may be running my 3RB up the hill, but even if I'm not, I'll be involved in running the timing equipment.
Anyone is welcome to pop up and have a look at the Hillclimb. You can also pop over to Sugarloaf reservoir if you're just out for a Sunday drive too. :)

Google map directions from Rob Roy to Sugarloaf

I might just pop in and have a look Ric.
Can anyone join in on the hill climb or do you need to register / have a CAMS license.

You need a CAMS licence, and have to enter by the Wednesday before.
You could take out a $1/1 day MG Club membership, and get a "one-event" CAMS licence if you're interested.
I'd recommend popping up and just watching one first to see if it's your thing. There is another identical one happening on Sep-5.

There's also a hillclimb on this coming Sunday. I'll be there doing the timing, but that is the "Vintage Sports Car Club of Victoria" running their own hillclimb.

Ric,

What are the other requirements (helmet, scrutineering, fire extinguisher, etc). Does one need a club sponsor for the one day membership/event?

I might see if I can attend the 5 Sep meet for a look see, with a view to participate in teh Oct event (if that is open for Libs).

Yes, you need a CAMS approved helmet, a fire extinguisher securely mounted on a metal bracket, and a bit of rope to tie your bonnet down.

Does one need a club sponsor for the one day membership/event?

I don't think so, but I'd be happy to do it if needed.

Yes, the Sep-5 and Oct-24 events are identical. Any model cars can enter them.
