My understanding is my 8" Enkeis from Phat are on there way. Took no time at all so a vote for Phat here

Still trying to work out which tyres though.

I was speaking to a mate of mine about tyres for the liberty (he has one and works at a tyre place). He rated the toyo t1r as well as the advan sport (what he currently has) very highly for a tyre between 300-400.

I'm running 225/35 on mine (19x8 all round). Don't need to lip guards either. :)

So what you are saying is too save myself $240 bucks and don't roll my guards. My wheels are also 19x8 and can choose either 225 or a 235 tyre

I know you have teins but how low are yours set ?

Ah, er, I don't recommend it though... LOL. Haha. Nah, seriously, I've clipped the front guard only once - doing 110 round a tight sweeper (holding on for dear life) and dropped into 'dip' mid corner... My rears are clear even fully loaded.

My teins are fairly low, about the same at Tangles.

As for tyres - recommend the 225's. 235's 'could' create too many issues.

aren't they two different classes though? The sports served me as well as the michelins I have on it at the moment. thought the T1r was closer to a semi slick

You may be thinking of the R1R. The T1R is a street tyre, 100%, as seen here:

whereas R1R is the semi-slick looking street tyre

I Had a set of T1R on my SP23 - nice tyre in all conditions - quiet and very grippy. Can't comment on the Advan Sport as a comparison though....
