Debadging (HOLES)

Postby talev788 » Fri Oct 16, 2009 3:38 pm

Sooo I debadged my RX the other day, unfortunately i discovered 2 lovely holes sitting behind the LIBERTY RX badge
Had to stick it back on with spare double sided tape, but idealy i'd like to remove it again and get rid of the holes.

Anyone else done this before? if so what did you do about it?

Proper way is to fill the hole with lead body filler or some other filler then sand smooth and paint that area of the panel, blending it into the rest. Easy way is to find some other badge to put in its place :) Or you could go crazy drift style and just use race tape to cover the hole!

Hahaha drift style sounds tempting but nahhh, hmm is it as easy as it sounds? or am i better off getting a panel beater to do it?
