MY04-06 Mcintosh: aux in?

Mcintosh coming out and I'm putting in Eclipse AVN726EA instead. Tried finding the upper cubby replacement but by the instructions I got faxed from Japan, neither will fit as a direct bolt-on, plus the brackets will need to be fabricated.
Not sure on price, I was thinking around ~$160.

Eclipse AVN6000 is a very nice unit, solidly built, and last of the made in Japan stuff. RUns the OEM Toyota type navigation software, I really liked the picture in picture navigation (half screen is zoomed out, half screen zoomed in)
I can get you an Eclipse AVN726EA for about that price, it runs iGo nav software.

Hi George,

I currently have the Eclipse's internal 50watt x 4 amp powering Focal two way component speakers in the front doors & Focal two way co-axial in the rear doors and factory subwoofer has been disconnected. I also have a 4 channel Eclipse power amp that I will install at some point when I get some spare time, but for now just enjoying it installed as described above.

Eclipse EA4200? I was thinkin of getting that, it seems like it fits under the seat.

But I think I just talked myself into the Alpine PDX-5... 4x75W + 1x300W, RMS. Stock Mcintosh speakers should do pretty well with that

Hi guys, another silly question as audio is not my bag if i buy a ECLIPSE AVN6000 or the same as Clarence has is that all I need to hook up to my existing gear in my car is the unit just plug and play with the existing speakers and amp

It won't interface with the Mcintosh amp, you'll have to remove it and run ampless or new amp.

Hey Clarence, 2 audio installers here in Sydney have told me that they can use the eclipse head unit with the Mac amp. All they need to do is wire into it.
