Hello, now . . . what's with all the wagons?

Wagon, wagon, MY10 wagon. That's all we hear!

Are we sure Subaru is still making sedans :?: LOL

C'mon Andrew, you know the wagon is the superior shape... :D (Put's on flame suit... )

BTW - to the OP, welcome mate! Great choice of car and you will no doubt love it from day one. Let the count down begin.

Whilst there's little info on the Gen 5, I'm sure you'll learn a shite load of info here and the peoplz are great too. :good:

Enjoy the mad house.

I gotta say, the MY10 wagon just looks much more imposing and intimidating than the sedan. It's all to do with the rump, i say ;) I have no personal preference either way, they're both sexy (the gen 4, that is), although there have been MANY times that I've wished for the convenience of a wagon. My next will def be a wagon

Agreed.....the sedan rump is a little too "understated" if you ask me......doesn't seem to match the aggressive front end IMO.

I got the black because this isnt and every day drive and will spend most of its life in my shed. I bought the wagon because my last car was a V8 toyota soarer, nice car but a real pain to put anything in. My only plans for this car is a set of 19" wheels and drop it an inch or so. Have done the mod thing to the soarer and wont do it again.
Thanks for all who welcomed me

G'Day and welcome,

I agree that the wagon does look far better primarily because I can walk past it and not think it is a Honda Accord Euro or Toyota Camry like I do with the sedans...

...that and the old Man has always had wagons since we were kids and I guess they are ingrained in me.

I must admit, in the next few years when upgrade time comes around hopefully there will be some sort of a Spec B (3.6L 6spd manual) equivalent in a wagon for purchase and I'll be down for it!

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be really happy with the ride.

Now that I'm in North America, I'm greatly concerned about raised pick-up trucks and owners of wedge shaped vehicles. Seriously, not only do you have to be concerned about one hitting you in an accident, they stand a good chance of driving over you at the same time!

It's all about Team Wagon!!! Bout time we got some numbers to combat all those sedan drivers :P heheheheheheheh

Welcome to the forum mate. Not many Gen 5 drivers among us yet, but I'm sure we'll be able to give suggestions in how to spend all your hard earned money on mods :P
