Which is the right double DIN panel?

Postby tangcla » Thu Oct 01, 2009 11:44 pm

Need a bit of advice for those who have attempted this.
Ignore the fact that it's for a RHD vehicle, as it works fine for me :)

So there are two double DIN console panels for the JDM Legacy.
H0017AG932
H0017AG915

Which one is suitable for a standard double DIN head unit? I'm assuming it's H0017AG915.

I'm a bit concerned because the Lilliput looks like it's taller than a regular double DIN.

Or is it...?

If anyone knows the exact dimensions of the H0017AG915 it would really help your decision. I know the dimensions of the 932 were posted in the CarPC thread which seems quite accurate. I havent had much luck trying to find out info on the 915.

915 is apparently 200x100mm. Standard DIN is 180x100.

Yep, DIN the most abused "standard" around. To confirm Single DIN is 50 mm x 180, thus double is 100 x 180.

S0 200x100 vs 185x118... which would require least amount of work to mount up a standard double DIN headunit?
