MY07 AuX In

Hi Guys

Been doing some searches and I want to enable the Aux in on my MAC HU to plug the audio from my carputer into...Am I right in reading that the MAC HU doesn't have a 3.5mm jack on the back and That I need to order a special cable from Subaru just to get the 3.5mm jack?

Ay, tis true Joel. Terrible ain't it? Make us pay for an AUX connection? I'm surprised Subaru doesn't lease it to us and make us pay 5 cents per song we play through it.

Just after clarification a pre-facelift Mac (2006 with navi) in only able to have the clarion EA1251 for Aux/Ipod in?

Post facelift there is an AUX in chord available from Subaru? + others?

i think i paid like 140 for mine fitted from subaru.

but they were replacing the HU anyways.

Just call your local subaru and tell them what your after and let them do all the dirty work lol.. it cost me $140 installed

subaru dont sell any iPod controls unfortunately...

$133 bucks not installed just the cable cough **Rip**off**

But Have to get it to finish my install LOL

On another note does anyone have pictures or a diagram of the back of the mac unit and where the cables go, there are a couple of cables left over and I'm not sure if they are meant to be plugged in or not or whether they were always just floating there.

Ooops sorry Ric subject has MY07 in it but it is a Lib GTB 6MT with the mac unit and the dual climate air con.
