New guy from ACT

Postby mrliberty » Tue Sep 22, 2009 5:48 pm

Hey guys I am from the ACT. I have just got a blue 2006 spec b and love it. I am very impressed with all the members and different range of libertys out there. I didn't think they were so popular. I have no mods at the moment but in the future I would like to do the mods which are probably on everyones wish list cooler, exhausted, ECU and a few guages. I am exicted to join the liberty asn and hope to meet some of the ACT guys for a cruz and talk mods. I hope to keep my subie looking standard on the outside and have a sleeper look with some go fast bits. Well guys happy crusin and thank god summer is here cause I cant wait to crusie with you all and share my experinces. :o

Welcome Tim,

Good to have another ACT person on board. Definitely more cruises etc to come up now that we are beginning to come out of hibernation. Plenty of places to cruise to as well. If you are keen there is a long (i.e. day long) cruise at the end of October up to Jenolan caves area.

If you see a red wagon getting about with roof racks (and potentially a kayak with the warmer weather), that'll be me.

Welcome Tim.

Is that a GTB or 3.0RB?

+1 on the pics...always a good thing to show off the Liberty :)

There's no such thing. :)
In 2006, the only SpecB model was the 3.0RB. Which engine do you have?

Two quick giveaways are, do you have a bonnet scoop, and what colour are your shock absorbers? ;)

I'm wrong, the SpecB GT's did come out in Sep 2006.
From the VIN number, I think they're actually MY07.

If it was built late 2006 it's an MY07. Does the bottom edge of the headlight curve upwards at the back to meet the top edge? If so, it's a facelift and an MY07
