The more the merrier! I can't believe there's still 8 spots left!!!

I'll add your name to the 'spectators' list Dave. Depending on spots, you may have plenty of room for doing a shelf. The fun part is pulling off all the airbag covers

Maybe he meant removal of the C pillar trims to allow access to the parcel shelf. Perhaps it involves the curtain airbags?

Yep, in the rear of the MY07 (and others with curtain airbags) there's an airbag to the sides of the parcel shelf that you've got to uncover to let you get the shelf out. Initially daunting, but ultimately not a big exercise.

ahhh... so how DO you remove it? Is it a simple case?

Might have to go down and look at it now.... thought it was going to be simple!

  Yeah, it's not too hard. A small cover plate, a few hex head bolts and some slow wiggling of trim panels and you're done.

There's a PDF of that part of the manual floating around if you search the forums. Pretty sure you search on my name and parcel shelf remove and you should get the link.

*bump* Plenty of spots left!!! And with the number of helpers on board, there's a good chance that your car will get done twice as fast!

Current participant list looks like:
Tangcla (MY04 Lib GT Sed)
LibJam - (MY06 Lib Sedan)
BennyGSR (spectate/assist, ???? car)
Ric (spectate/assist, no car at this stage)
teK-- (spectate/assist, no car at this stage)
AWDDave - (spectate/assist)

If people are interested, I'd like to open up this day to some members of the Vic WRX Club that've been trying to get me to run one of these days for yonks! This should fill the spots pretty quick if I'm any guess though, will also help pump up the GB on the deadener.

Thoughts?

sounds good... be good to mix with those that have had their cars shrunk in the wash

I must missed it... in the banter... when's the actual date of the workshop?

Craig - is it possible to update the first post with when/where?
