Subaru Offers

Are the deals being offered on an either / or basis, or can you take advantage of multiple offers on the same deal?

As much as I seriously considered a 3.0 Spec B earlier, I've decided to take a cheaper option as I also want to buy some real estate as well. I'm actually going to buy a 2.0R. For a base model car, it's still very sound and very well featured. Friends of mine have one and it's quite nippy as well.

Subaru have offers of free on roads for a limited time and free sat nave on the 2.0R. Am I likely to manage to get both of these options? I know I could contact a dealer, but if they have to fund any of the cost of these promotions, I'm sure they'd say "no" in the first instance anyway. If it's a factory deal, it might be different.

Gee mate happy for you to purchase a Liberty but how can one use the word nippy and 2.0R in the same sentence ? How much extra is the 2.5?
Sorry to put a dampener on your choice but the 2.0 is a slug With 4 adults in the car my 12yo 1600 Feroza auto with 395000 km will kill it

I guess that depends upon the answer to my original question, but if I had to pay to have Sat Nav put in in a 2.5, but it came with the 2.0, that'd make it about $6k more.

You can buy a Sat Nav for $500 with blue tooth which is a shit load better than the overpriced OEM product

I'm not sure what bluetooth has to do with it. I have a Pocket PC with Satnav built in. It does work well, but if I'm in and out of the car, it's a pain having to put it out of sight or disconnect it and take it with me, so it's not a temptation for thieves. That was the main appeal of the built in Satnav.

As for the performance with 4 adults, that's not really an issue for me. Over 90% of the time, I'll be the only one in it.

Can you order a 2.5i without a sunroof?

i guess u cant, unless u try to order one form japan, like that gt with no sunroof awhile ago..

A guy at work had a 3.0 Spec B. Although it was a very nice car, when I sat in it, the sunroof didn't really allow very much headroom.

I haven't driven a 2.5 yet mind you. I'll take one for a drive and see how they compare.

I have no problems with the 2 Litre in fact my Father tows his boat with one and still manages speeding tickets.

Any car can speed.. just ask all those cars that speed past me at 120km/h out of the lane cove tunnel on the way to the harbour tunnel.. xD

They're not so tough when it comes to climbing inclines and power bursts of acceleration

I guess in the end.. any car is good as long as you yourself are happy with everything.

I personally haven't found the sunroof to be much of a problem, there is good room clearance for myself and i'm about 5'11", seat at lowest position.

Id be looking at the Accord Euro base model over the 2.0 Liberty.

And yeh - the factory sat nav is a terrible waste of money.

Crazy if you forsake the 2.5 in order to get the satnav.

I just purchased a 2.5 Liberty and to honest with you it goes ok for a four pot .

Like the tiptronic auto too.

I didnot get the sat nav as it is a pain .You have to have the car in park to program the address.For $500 I purchased a Hitachi sat nav and it should fit perfectly in the pocket where the factory unit fits in .
It is all touch screen and is killer !
