Dyno Tune Results

Friend at work has a MY07 GTB Liberty with minor work done, HKS Panel Filter and full custom back 3inch exhaust system and decided to get a tune done.. below are his results. Im not too good with dyno readings so hoping you guys could provide some feedback

hmm nah sorry thats all he has.. well his car was a stock tune before.. maybe i can dig up a stock dyno graph?

Unfortunately that would still be useless because he had the 3" TBE installed on it prior to the tune. So using a stock dyno chart wouldn't be relevant. Plus it's near 200kw atw with only an exhaust so as steve_m suggested, perhaps it's a hub dyno?

No because it would have been on a different dyno on a different day, with different calibration settings.

Dynos are ONLY good to use as a diagnostic tool to show before/after progress.

I'm not too sure, but at the recent dyno day a few guys with 2.5 spec bs with dump pipes and exhausts returned atw figures in the mid 140s.... So that might be a fair indication..
but then again, each dyno is different adn values can be distorted to show whatever the dyno operator wants to I think....

As the posts above have said, it's very hard to compare without a "before" run, but regardless that's looking pretty good. On the face of it, the boost has probably been increased a touch, and he's pulling some fairly good torque out of it. If I was on the dyno I used at ASG, and the "before" run was the same as mine, I'd be pretty happy with that tune.

EDIT, just saw the 16.5 psi which is about 1.13 bar, so no real boost increase to speak of. What gear was this run done it ? That's a very important factor to be considered !

Hub Dyno read out to ATW's read out I'm pretty sure you can knock off around 45kw.

Can't remember who posted it, but it was posted up on this form previously

I know the EJ25T's have a little bit of an edge over the EJ20T's purely because of capacity... So with those minor mods best guess is that you should be pushing around (A real) 150-160kw ATW's

Think it's like 14 or 14.5 psi.

145 Kw atw on Maximum Motorsports roller dyno same peak boost
My take on this is intake temps will vary wildly depending on your set up.You can try to offset the heat by using fans, water spray, ice and you will likely make some great gains on your dyno graphs. Real life driving will be harder to replicate.

It would be interesting to know what the intake temperature gets up to on some of these Dyno runs.

looking at my stock ECU (although 2.0T) it can be seen that for intake temps 60-70deg, 2.11 degrees timing gets pulled, 70-80 and 3.87 gets pulled and 80+ intake temp sees -5.98degrees! So if you're sitting on the dyno for a while, in a hot room I would imagine the intake temps around 80 degrees could be seen, as with an 18 degree ambient, I've seen 28-30 intake temp when sitting in traffic...
