yep I dont doubt it but after two years with the power upgrades it is more than likely that some slippage will start to occur. The clutch is your weakest link for a reason.

Second Senator and the cars he mentions as still original clutch but totally agree with that statement
Clutch ,relatively cheap sacrificial part compared to what is next in line

Its looking hopeful.. Car will get dropped of Sunday evening, Subaru mechanic will spend most of Monday with my tuner assessing the situation.. Either way I should have a new clutch by the end of the week.. Which will be cutting it a bit close as I have planned a road trip out to Dubbo Zoo and Blue Mountains next weekend..

With five Subaru's (three being bought new in the last few years) in the family, Their best bet would be to do what they can to make our relationship grow because without doubt depending on their attitude someone in the family will be up for a new Subaru soon. Based on our recommendations we have even had a few family friends buy new Subaru's in the last couple of years. But now all I do is warn people off our local dealers. They may have saved $700 in not replacing my front spoiler, and few dollars in loaning my mother a car for the now two months they have had her car, but what they will lose in sales, services fees and negative word of mouth will surely be greater..

On a good note, when I picked up car last week the front spoiler (lower black lip) was fixed and looked like new. One of my tuners mates is a plastics specialist.. The lip was borderline about to fall off, it had a 60cm crack in the middle where it attaches to the front main bar. He attached some clips to the back and worked his magic to all the scratches, dents & creases in it.. It turned out that well I thought initially they had replaced the lip..

Yes but I am sure I will get over it lol..

Anyways clutch was replaced .. They assessed the situation and noticed a fair amount of uneven clutch wear.. One side of the clutch plate was nice and smooth and the other had imprints in it.. So they replaced it.. New clutch goes like it should.. If it goes again I am on my own tho, which is completely understandable.

Sounds like assembly problem!! Did you have any vibration prior!?

No real vibration.. Just a pretty bad clutch smell straight out of the show room.. We just presumed it was new car engine smell.. Clutch feels completely different now, it’s a lot touchier than it ever was before.
