Hey Guys,

My name is Pat and i work for Wholesale Suspension Penrith, NSW.

We currently have 1 liberty kit instock that is the Red spec, 6 and 8kg rates.

Recently i have been informed that we may be losing the distribution rights to Just Jap in sydney so i'm not too sure how much longer we will be able to source the BC kits. So far they haven't said no, but this could change soon...

We do also supply Tein, Super Pro and King Spring Products. Feel free to ask any questions and i'll do my utmost best to answer you!

Cheers

Pat

PS, can someone send me some info on becoming a vendor?

No probs guys,

We are looking into getting a private brand of coil overs made which will be basically the same design as the BC's, just branded with our name. Unfortunately i don't have an ETA on these, its just something we are keen to get into.

We can supply anything for your suspension needs though, so feel free to PM me

Cheers

Pat, what is your knowledge with regards to products available for non-bilstein cars? i.e. is there any Tein spring available or are there only Kings? Many people seem to have a poor opinion of Kings due to their manufacturing process (hot rolled rather than cold rolled) but are there cold rolled products (eibach, H&R, Tein) that can be had for non-bilstein 04-06 cars?

Thanks
Lee

And for those looking at the BC Coilovers -
I asked Just Jap
  • Are the VM (rubber front) cheaper than the VA with pillowball?
  • What is the lead time for getting the VMs? Do they need to come from Taiwan?
And this is what they had this to say:

Hi Lee

Yes the VM are rubber and the VA are with pillow tops and no they are both the same price its up to you if you want them with pillow tops.

The lead time of the coilovers coming is only 4 days from the day they are ordered

Note the Legacy/Liberty coils aren't listed but that is the price and you can check delivery cost when signed in ($30 to SA) so $1,229 delivered

So I was trying to find info on whether the 6kg/8kg Front/Rear would be too stiff, and found this information for springs for the BL/BP5 Tein coilover range:
Super Wagon 5.0/6.0
Basic Flex Wagon 6.0/6.0
Super Flex Wagon 6.0/6.0

Then found the following for springs only
S.Tech 5.3/7.2
High.Tech 4.7/6.5
Eibach 4.2/6.1

So, seeing as S-tech's are raved about, and BC's only being a slight increase over this rate with adjustable damping, seems like BC have the rates pretty much right I would say...

Now I just need to save the $$$$

Eibach don't make springs for the wagon but the sedan versions fit fine. The back of the wagon doesn't weigh much more than the sedan so the drop is almost identical.

BTW I was the owner of the GT that wholesale got the springs for. Great customer service :D

Q - I would love to see pics of how your wagon sits on the Eibach Springs.

I also noted in another thread you are looking for coilovers - was this before or after ordering the Eibach Springs? i.e. are you changing away from them already, or decided against coilovers?

I will hopefully fit the Eibachs to the Bilsteins next week and will post results then. If they aren't what I'm looking for then I'll be going for a set of racecomp tarmac 1 coilovers.
