Results are:
No Stall : -7.5psi manifold pressure
1900rpm: +0.7psi manifold pressure
2200rpm: +2psi manifold pressure
2200rpm: +5psi manifold pressure
2800rpm: +10psi manifold pressure
Morale of the story - with a 3100rpm factory stall converter in the 2.0T auto, 2800-3000rpm launch will give a nice boost buildup before takeoff!
Also, being 3100 factory stall, you will get some heat buildup but not excessive as it wont be trying to lock up completely. As long as you don't do this every set of traffic lights, should cool the trans fluid reasonably quickly
