Subaru stuffed up. Now offering me a 08

Nearly everything is in here to start with.

heres an interesting scenario;

you take the loan car (yes its something good :P ) you drive that for a while, get used to it, get your new car and you dont like it - you prefer to drive the loan car :lol:

yeah right, like it will happen, but funny none the less.

Spoke to subaru australia today,in regards to the differnces between 07 and 08 all they would tell me is "There will be some minor changes to interior and cosmetics" They wouldnt go into any other details as they havent been given the final details of the car either. Im just hoping not much will change as i really like the MY07 model

I've heard that at this stage there isn't another STi Lib on the cards. The STi Lib in Australia was apparently the brainchild of one of the STi Australia guys. He's gone to one of the Ford Supercar Teams. That's just what I've been told so don't shoot the messenger.

Have been looking on the subaru japan website, if the model shown on there is the 08 there doesnt look to be to many major differences, from what i could understand it seems the nav has changed and they now come with a Engine start/stop button.

Not sure if this will apply to the aus model, as the japanese car generally has better gadgets

put it this way, the liberty will get very minor change.. why would they do anything to major when al the focus is going to be on the imreza...

i also heard there was going to be 2 new colours... but thats not an issue for you, cos your adament you want black... just relax and wait for your fresh one....

you still got a nice discount on a car that wont be discounted like that until late the following year if at all.

no point doing your head in over it.

your not alone in this kind of situation. it can be within a couple of minutes that we send the email to stock control and another dealer has already sent the request in. the allocated the first request. nothing the sales person can do but request when they get the order.

I drove my mates renault which uses a card and start/stop button to work..

man it just felt weird... as cool as it looks.. i think i'm a bit nostalgic.. i also like turning the key in increments for certain modes :p

and i like to swing my keys around and show off i have a subaru xD

but.. if the start/stop button has a glow.. it'd take it if it matched the cup holders haha
