Haha - "big Steve" - that was my one of my nicknames when I was playing. Not big anymore though :( I've lost 19kg's since I broke my back... I look more like a street light now!!!

what did u do to ur back? fark! u haven't played ever since that have ya? well its good to exercise to maintain the structure of it^^ could play with me and some boys for some light balls on sundays to see how u go with the back! dun wanna hide ur talent BIG STEVE lol!

mate can't wait to the next cruz where us all cars are with phat quads! somewhere near morning will be good again, so tat we can test the sound of them!

btw, have u tuned urs?

LOL - bit off topic, but, I actually haven't played for two and half years... I broke my ankle taking a board over someone! (My own fault really - should have jumped over him!! HAHA!) Anyway, would love to shoot around sometime in the future, but after this injury being rather serious, I might leave it for another year or so. If you're training or just shooting around, would like to drop in sometime.

As for tuning - soon mate, soon. I want to do the driveline mods first and then do the tune to suit. Got a few things on the list to get before I get to the tune though! Damn my impatience is killing me! :D

argh that will be good to come and just for fun! nth serious, come if u are keen! usually play at nunawading stadium on burwood highway! would love to cut in and lay up on u big Steve, providing ur hurt

of coz hope u back could get better! the earlier the better man!

I dun think will put on performance at all to this car except for the appearance! after the rear K2 bar and the quad, i think will go for the rims and springs OR just tuned straight after i put on the quads! Speaking about performance, i rather get a new one if i won tattslotto or sth haha, thinking of trading in for a m3 in the nearest future :P

In the meantime, i just love the joy of this car and all this cool blokes like u in the forum^^ and can't wait for the quads to come!
Cheers,

Julz

Oh yeah - I like that shot Clarence - you mind if I use it on my desk top? (Can someone shop the DV camera out of the pic for me?)

I think I better update the thread actually - there's a few more mods I need to add!

Thanks Julzzy! :good:

Sure thing, PM me your email address and what your desktop resolution is. I've gotten rid of the DVcam too.

Re: Project Sentinel - PHAT, Sways, Brembos, Rotors, Lines & HKS

Postby Sentinel » Sun Aug 16, 2009 9:19 pm

OK - Update for August!

Courtesy of Mr Phat - quads are on.
As are the Brembo's - FINALLY!! I was contemplating a few colors. But, I wanted something that did not scream out "look at me, I've got Brembo's" like HSV, FPV, Fezz's, Poshi's etc. So it was down to gold, going black or silver. Gold was just like everyone else's and a try hard STi, black is now STi standard on Aust Lib's and you can't see them at all, so I went with silver!
Along with DBA 4000 slotted rotors (front and rear)
S/S braided lines to help, with some new DOT fluid...
And the Dixcel Type M's (also courtesy of Mr Phat)
Whiteline sways (front and rear), courtesy of Trieu's GB
And thanks to Daz, a HKS panel filter...

Some pics to whet the appetite:

Some better pics to come when it doesn't rain long enough to prevent me from getting my car out!
