Window tint?

hey guys
Just wondering if anyone on here has had their car tinted at Tint a car /solace with the bolle tint ? and if so does anyone have any pics ?
i am unsure wether to get midnight express or the bolle?

The darker the better! My car is also silver and has 15% tint and i've had lots of comments about how good it looks. Good luck with your choice

what tint did u use if u dnt mind me asking? i was thinking of taking it to tint a car in cardiff , the guy there tells me the bolle has a slight blue coloring to it , from what ive heard it sounds good but at the same time i want dark tint !! not too sure what to go yet!

I went with Nova autoglass and tinting, they are a mobile service who come to you, not sure if they have a workshop as such? A number of caryards and panel shops use them. I live in Cardiff, if you are in the area you are welcome to look at my car if you want to.

Got window tint done today with the midnight express, im pretty happy with the tint itself , i wasnt happy finding dirty hand marks on my roof!!!
has anyone else takin there car somewhere , only for it to come back with marks or scratches?
does anyone know the best way / product to use to get rid of dirty hand marks on roof lining?

Take it back and demand they clean it. That's what I did...

Any question on whats the darkest you can go with tinting thats legal?, cause im tossing up between a sound system or tinting the windows.. Id like something where its not pitchblack at night but you need to get really close to the windows to see inside..

i think 35% is the darkest legal? Mine is 15%, very dark at night, but looks good

Get the tint done first, so once you do get ur fully sik doof doof systum in, it's concealed from unwanted peoples.

Surely the cost of tint is not the same as the stereo??? Perhaps get tint and also split your stereo into two separate projects that you can do in 2 stages?

I have only had time to transfer my amp, sub, and head unit from my old car and must say that the stock fronts are doing a respectable job so I'm in no rush to move my splits into them and sound deaden the front doors. Since I don't really go blasting music at high volumes anymore they are doing well. The stock stereo just really really really needed some low end which is now accomplished.

I was gonna duck down to Option Tint and get a quote on the darkest tinting they have, Cause my mates gonna sell me his Amp and Woofer for $350..

Yehh 35% is darkest legal, and the Police are starting to crack down on it more now as they have some sort of hand-held device that can tell them if it's legal or not straight away.

I have 35%, I wasn't happy a few months ago and was going to go darker..like 15% as it was the next step up. My mate has this and I think its a good choice as you can still (kinda) see at night, and in the day its still dark enough.

The darkest you can go is 5%..way too dark though. In bright daylight, you sit in the car and you'll think its getting dark . At night, you'll need your windows down to see ANYTHING.


I was going to get darker tint a few months ago but got a sound system instead, why only make your car look good, when you can pump your music to look good and get noticed.
