Hi Guys sorry in advance for the noob question

I just bought a cable from limitless a Evoscan 1.3d cable which supports ODBII and SSMII and it comes with a program Evoscan, plugged it all in and it works a treat however it can monitor a heap of sensors and to be honest I have no idea what they mean.

So I was wondering which 6-8 sensors would be the best to monitor on the carPC I know I want AFR, Boost and EGT but can someone tell me which ones they are in the pictures below, EGT is easy but I have no idea which is the correct 1 is for AFR, also what does everyone else reckon for the other gauges?

Have you installed extra sensors in the car? If not, then don't bother with AFR and EGT.

I'd also start by installing RomRaider and seeing if it recognises your cable. You'll have the correct definitions for your car, rather than a generic set and that in itself will solve a bunch of problems before they even arise.

Regardless, the things you'll always need to log are rpm, load, boost (relative man pressure) ... then whatever it is you want to look at.

Feedback knock correction in conjunction with timing advance can be useful, fine learning can be useful in understanding what is going on but more can be gleaned by using Learning View. Same with AF corrections.

Just play with it. It's not like you are going to break anything. See what your IDCs are, maybe monitor your air flow sensor and anything else that takes your interest. The more you log, the more obvious it will be what you want to see.

You can log the output of the factory sensor, but it is there for closed loop fuel adjustment.

What you need is a wide band O2 sensor.

Which 1 on the list do u reckon is the factory sensor, I will download romraider as per your suggestion a well, but the EVoscan software has a cool gauge creator app that I want to use with Centrafuse.

I used to use EVOScan on my mitsubishi Legnum, and I now use RomRaider on my Liberty. RomRaider is a superior logger for subaru, so dont worry about using EVOscan any more.
