So dont know what was going on yesterday?! The only thing I can think is when its at full load up a hill is when it experienced the knock. So will log again on the way home (up the hills) and see what I get.
Are you still feeling that hesitation under load uphills you felt previously?
Yep sure am. Spoke to Sean from S&J Automotive here in Adelaide about it today - he suggested it could be a couple of things - either injectors are flowing uneven amounts of fuel (out of balance) or the AVCS is not resulting in the same cam timing on each side. This can be caused by the oil galleries to the cams becoming clogged over time. He said I should log it and see what timing is resulting with the AVCS on each side and see if its that.
So i ran the log this afternoon and the result seems that there is some variance, however mostly by only 1 degree. There is the odd sample that is out by 3-4 degrees on the Exhaust side however, so will be taking the logs to Sean to see what he says.
Mark - would like to know your opinion on this?
Also, no knock and still IAM of 1.000 when I got home this evening too.
