** Update As Of Friday June 3rd **

Sorry folks, no progress as of yet. The bending machine at Liverpool is still unable to produce the centre pipes Phat needs, as they are still waiting for the part that broke last time. Unfortunately I do not have an ETA at this time. As soon as I hear anything I'll update this thread.

Anyone needing a centre pipe for an upcoming tune, I would probably start considering alternatives now if the tune is coming up soon. And by that I mean drop and get quotes from local muffler shops for a custom centre pipe. The centres have not been produced yet so you are not locked into this group buy, so a refund of your deposit will not be a problem. Sorry, just don't want anyone held up on getting their long awaited tune just for this.

Again, if you're anxious to get a tune and the centre pipe is holding it up, it's recommend you get the centre pipe custom made at a local muffler shop. I am happy to refund your deposit money. So far there have been numerous cancellations already.

In any case, for the x5 people still left, I'll update this thread again in a few weeks time.

I totally understand Gordon. Fitted a custom 3" setup for the centre. And even with a 15" hotdog resonator and a mini-muffler, it was too loud for the kids. To the point where they were actually scared to ride in the car. So had to revert back to the K2 Gear centre pipe. Sure, don't get the maximum gain of the 3" (man, the mid and high end power increase was satisfying), but it's quieter inside and out for a more near civilised ride.

Btw you might want to post something up in the 'For Sale' section, as a lot of potential buyers will miss it in here.
