Looks like a Sunday perhaps. Would a morning or afternoon be better ? I like Mornings nice and cool, then again its pretty cold all day at the moment

Now I raised the issue with Ben that there may be some that can't make it for whatever reason and because Ben would like to get the word out that we have a 4WD dyno we can do one off runs during the week for $75 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I don't think anyone would come anywhere near this :P

I'm keen, as long as my car is ready :P

Would have to be on a weekend (Saturday or Sunday is fine with me)... May also have a few mates that are keen to get on board as well :D

Well it certainly looks like we have the numbers. what I'll do tomorrow when I'm down there next is tee up a few possible days and let everyone chose the date that suits the majority best i.e the one which the most people agree on. If theres a breakaway group with enough people I reckon I could do the balance on a saturday in a couple of hours all together

Let you know tomorrow or perhaps late tonight

Mornings would be good. Perhaps we could hook up a BBQ for lunch afterwards...?

Well I stand at 125 KW's at the wheels in full stock condition atm. A quick play with the factory tune netted 140+ however. ( I can't tell you the exact figure till tomorrow ). Still I have no exhaust or anything else unfortunately as the car isn't mine - my wife would have a dummy spit. I may slip something in there If I can swindle it.

I've mentioned it earlier so forgive me if I rehash this a bit. The Mainline dynos read a bit lower, lower than the other brands certainly the hub dynos and the dyno dynamics as well - even the ones with the very old software releases when they read a bit more realistically  . The thing is you know that the base reading will be accurate and repeatable and there is not much variation between individual installaions around the place. I'm not saying its better and the others are rubbish as they are not. They are all tools really it just depends what you want your tool to be used for and what options you'll require. The other thing which is becoming more and more important is the logging side of things which the other brands are lacking atm. I can log on one of the dyno screens, data directly obtained from a cars Autronic/Haltech/Wolf/etc OBDII data stream and combine this with that of the dyno's own data. And theres a Coda 5 gas analyser that interfaces as well. I can graph whatever I want V whatever else I want. Believe me this is quite 'tricky' trying to sort it all out . This is great for sorting out some weird flatspot or miss in even grandma's, car you can run it all up and see exactly what is going on when and even where if your lucky.
With the Coda analyser its the same as the one used by the EPA/RTA and contains the pre-programmed runs they do when checking emissions so you can hook your car up and do lots and lots of runs modifying it until it passes happily knowing that it will also pass at the EPA facitlity. In my other beasts case this might be several hundred runs 8)

OK I have some dates for you guys to chose from

Saturdays
25th July
1st August
8th August

Sunday
23 August

Times would be preferably in the morning say from 8 or 9 am

Initially I though it would have been preferential for the guys here to do it on a Sunday however this is not the case they'd prefer to do it on a Saturday and have bascially an RDO form their normal work
The Sunday is the day after the NSW WRX clubs annual dyno day

Let me know your thoughts as to which date and I'll start creating a list

If you want to quiz me about anything give me a buzz on 0419 492 451

Cheers

Mark
