Quick Question: HID Install

i know there was a fairly detailed thread on here on how to remove the front bar and to install the HID in the foggies and lights... i cant find that thread! haha been searching for it for the last hour and a bit :( (yes been using the search button)


its obvisly right in front of my eyes but keep missing it..

any help? LOL

:lol: I don't think you need to remove the front bar. All you need is girlie hands. I think clarance should be able to help confirm that.

But yeah, you should just be able to 'peel' back the undercar cover to get access to the screw that holds the foglights in place.

hehe a bit of pre-install panic haha all good now

rang Leo (HKS180) and he set me straight :lol:

cant recomend his HID kitts enuff :mrgreen: made a noob like me look like a pro 8)

You can do the install without taking the front bar off but it's better (i mean MUCH better) to see what you doing ...unless you can get access to a hoist ...

but front bar off for me ~~~ :D

don't want to start a new thread, but i got my HID kits from Tangcla today and would like to see a bit of instructions
about where people are mounting the ballasts etc.

I've done a search for the how to thread but can't really find one.
