Just fork out the bit of money and get the AVO pod intake cover.

Have you checked it with the EPA regarding firm legislation? People get defected for a "2-inch rule" with wheels but there is no such thing, you can go as large a wheel as you want as long as the overall diameter is not more than 15mm greater than the size specified by the manufacturer.

There's a lot of misconception about legislation, both from car owners/enthusiasts/douchebags and police officers/douchebags alike.

nah i didnt bother fighting it but in the end i went to my mate who ticked it off without even looking but i had already taken it out lol. yeh ive been meaning to look into that. As long as the AVO fits with the apexi?

Yup. There's people running that setup (Apexi intake with AVO cover) now.

why a pod? Just remove the resonator. Stock airbox flows good enough (probably up to 400HP) and you will definitely be upgrading your turbo to get that. Unless of course you like the really loud induction noise. Personally I'm not a fan

Rather than make a new topic, thought I would post here.

I'm looking for a pod filter and am exploring my options. From what I've read, at the end of the day it's up to the buyer to decide on what they want to get.

I have read a lot of members suggesting Apexi over some of the other brands so I'm just looking at prices, etc at the moment. Can somebody please give me a part number for the pod for a MY06?

Feel free to post your suggestions regarding the pod.

Stick to a brand name with a dry element filter / pod & generally you'll be good

Apexi is the most popular as they are good value for money... & now that you can get those pod boxes from AVO, you can make it legal nice & easy
