Detailing the fish wagon

Postby fish_boy79 » Fri May 18, 2007 9:55 pm

hey guys!

ok some of you have been bugging me to post pics of my new front bar and i finally got around to taking the pics. the rear bar and side skirts will be fitted on sunday so will have pics of those later. mesh will go on next week, along with cooler.

the car has been out of action for nearly 2 months now due to silly drivers in brissie. after getting the car back from panel beaters, i noticed that the car was filthy and had rough patches all over the paint work due. so decided to go all out and get some advice from dave from www.waxit.com.au. he recommended gear very similar to brendans225 detail so i'm expecting some great results. i've only just finished washing the car and clay bar the bonnet, and DAMN is it so smooth....

anyway back to it, i'll update with pics of my progress.

got those spotlights at bunnings. had them for a few years now, so cant remember how much they cost. had the spotlights on before and crap swirls everywhere. will take a pic of them tomorrow. just finished claying and a bit late to use the pressure gun at the moment.

those buckets weren't meant to be in the shot. was just too lazy to move themi got a 3000L watertank in my backyard and its a pain in the ass to go fetch water. handy having the pressure gun though, only 3/4 of that white bucket to totally rinse the car clean.

ah, no wonder, i was wondering why u had a few buckets full of water, cos isn't QLD having a big water restriction atm where u aren't even allowed to use a bucket to wash the car?......no probs u have a big ass water tank  ........and btw, your garage looks massive
