BL5 Rear wiper conversion

If anyone's still following this thread - finally got off my lazy ass and finished plumbing the vacuum (water) lines to the rear wiper. All works well, except the intermittent feature. Need to figure out what the deal with that is, but running it off the one 12V wire off the body control module so far works fine. Just need to manually stop the wiper at the baseline position.

One possibility is that the AUDM Liberties all got the wagon body control module, and the wagon wiper being smaller has a shorter wipe duration.

But if you switch it to off, it'll keep going until it finishes its cycle, right?

With mine, since I've only hooked up one of the wires (we still haven't figured out what the other two do! ) it doesn't complete its cycle. That'll be for after I come back from Hong Kong and Cambodia...

i wouldnt worry to much about it, i dont use the wiper much anyway...

I'm not worrying much about it either, it's not too big a deal to stop it

I use it because where I park, it's a construction site next door so it's dusty as.

make sure the windoww in very wet or you will get scratching

I try but the water doesn't spray until the wiper has wiped a bit... I think I got too much vacuum line that I didn't cut

i only use it when it is raining

Looks good Clarence but you must be running out of ideas for mods then as this seems like a LOT of effort to look JDM .
