Looks nice Hanger; presume it would require baking the lenses off the headlight assembly?

Also, your front plate is facing downwards so much, is that deliberate to avoid the speed cameras? ;)

could you do it with a different colour than white? i think or orange rings on a black lib with eyelids would look farely sinister- i just replaced my parkers with white LEDs and i was so tempted to put red in.. but figured it would look to rice withought something else matching..

THAT, my friend, would be illegal. Not allowed to have any red facing towards front of car, and no white towards rear (except when reversing, then it's mandatory).

About orange angel eyes, not quite as sure but I'm pretty certain it's only for indicating. You could probably get away with blue.

I've still got my white ones to fit - one day.....

+1

The police barely tolerate blue as it is (remember a few years back when blue LEDs on the bonnet were the big fad?). They definitely won't take kindly to the red which micmics emergency vehicles.

any blue or red lights on your car Mason and they will jump on you like your carring donuts!

Imitating a police (emergancy) vehicle they will say.. any other colour other than white.. and im sure they will try get you for "Dazziling" or "Distracting" other drivers (i had green in my 93 lib a few years back)

i bought angel-eyes off ebay a few months back.. when i got them.. they where like 5" rings :( utterly usless

when you do go for it.. send me the link and what you said to get the right size ones

so ones that change from red to blue every second would be ok then? :D jokes

i didnt even think about the legal implications of red, however BMWs come out with orange ones standard so that must be tolerable..

yes, orange will be tolerable. Your indicators are orange for example and truck running lights are orange. You'll have to make sure that there is a discernable difference between the "angel eye" and the indicator when the indicator is operating

Correct - you can't turn the audi's off!

Actually you can. Have been looking at them as a replacement for the Lib and you can control the LED lights through the vehicle management system, you can pretty much control everything to do with those cars... impressive.

so LGT05, did u end up doing anything with the R8 style lights?

i like the idea of having that kind of 'led-strip' on the lib headlamp..... does anyone have any pics or links to something like that on a lib?

sounds good, but would have to see it to be convinced before i tried it myself
