WTB: passenger side external mirror

Postby unfunkable » Thu Jun 11, 2009 12:48 pm

Was driving a bit to close to the side road and knocked my passenger side mirror.

Some glass on the inside is cracked and fallen out, but the indicator light still works on it.

It's for a gen 4, obsidian black in color.

im located in canb, so can pickup or post is ok too.

PS : does anybody know how much a brand new one costs? ( i believe its 600+?)

would it be possible to get one from the wreckers?

cheers!

You might want to specify if it's for a pre-facelift (2004-06) or post-facelift (2007-) LIberty.

I have just had the same side door mirror(also in black) clipped by a ute on Wednesday, shattered the plastic surround and knacked the operation of the glass (which unbelievably stayed in one piece). Mine is a MY05 BP5.

$689.00 for areplacement door mirror and $65 to remove and replace. Got this quote from the Stealership in Alexandria only yesterday.

Not at fault for mine though and got a call from insurance assessor saying they want to see the damage before coughing up.

If it just the mirror that's broken just go to a glass/mirror place and they can
cut a piece and replace the mirror for about $20.
