Does anyone know if these mild steel mufflers sound different or are more/less loud than the stainless steel versions?

I've heard from others that the note of the exhaust may be slightly different. But it could all be placebo. Maybe Jim or some of the other boys who know more could shed some light.

** UPDATE AS OF THURSDAY JUNE 11th **

Is anyone interested in mild steel tips? Anyone? Liverpool Exhaust has to bend up more stainless steel tips for Phat, after which he has to get them polished as well. This will delay things a bit.

However he said anyone interested in mild steel tips (you can paint them if you want or put a chrome sleeve over them), he can have a few sets ready by Monday.

aren't we all getting the mild steel mufflers and tips, which are the same as u attached with the post?

Yup. Everyone who's ordered the mild steel mufflers want the stainless steel tips. Mild steel tips don't appear to be that popular. :P

I don't believe there has been a video/sound clip of these mild steel version. But I believe the difference between the two (stainless steel and mild steel) is small. So the videos of stainless steel ones should give you a good indication of how they sound. Look up AR1TH in youtube.

Haha yep! lets go stainless steel tips!!!

Also, if anyone has a question on how quad mufflers sound on 2.5NA, i think theres only one and only clip on Jimbo's 'Jimbo's collections of libies' that has a silver 2.5i sound clip of the phat mufflers! Check it out! they sound great!

Oopps, Sorry Daz, that clip was a Hi-tech quads on a 2.5NAs...but i found out they sound similar with the phat ones. So u might picture how they will sound on us! Anyone correct me if i am wrong though.
