Awesome install and pics! Dont do this job under a jack. You would do it much quicker the next time I suggest.

Side note: My mate and I have it down to 20 minutes to remove one set and install another with no jack or stand used ! STI pinks are good for something.

Haha, I tried doing this (i have s.techs) ended up scrapping my face/nose on the bottom of the car a couple of times. i would not recommend it to anyone. its really tough working in such a confined space.

btw, for those that are wondering how much these stands are for their car doing these little duties (and other things like securing the car properly while doing a tyre change), a set (one pair) of basic adjustable axle stands will cost ~$20 from Supercheap Auto (or Marlows/Repco/other).

Fortunately my driveway has a nice hump in it which made swapping out the mufflers a couple of months ago easy. Not the best driveway for stands - would have to go down the street a bit :?

Theyve had a couple weeks to get worn in...and they really do sound alot better!
They are a bit louder, you can still here it above 4000RPM now, almost till redline! And when downshifting/slowing down it now gives a deep grunt when you let the clutch off!

Not yet Steve. The stainless steel set for you and Lukovitch are done already. I'm hoping more tips will be produced so Phat can make a few mild steel ones (and 1 more stainless waong set) to send along to fill up the pallet. Look for near end of week for delivery to take place. Any mild steel mufflers not able to make that deadline will go down with Alex (birch_security) the following week.

Any updated word on when my S/S Quad's will be shipped to WA ? Looking to book my fitting and tune in in the next couple of weeks.

Cheers
