What Liberty!

Can live with the exterior design but OMG what's with the interior. Has Subaru lost the plot or what? Looks like recycled parts from Toyota's bins. Gone are the frameless doors so too the individualistic feeling of owing a Liberty... :?

I don't really rate the new liberty wagon, however it will probably grow on me but did anyone look at the outback? Loook at the very first shot when the following website link opens:

http://www.subaru.jp/legacy/outback/

As far as I can tell by how many I see on the road, the outback is a massive seller, but this will dramatically lose sales in Australia in my opinion.

You will be surprised by how many they will sell. A lot of people said the same thing about the forester, they have been proved otherwise.

some will not buy it and go else where and they will get first timers who are not happy elsewhere. happens all the time. how many people here are first time subaru owners? i know off a few.

I want one.

I think I have to admit that I changed from hating this car to loving it in three weeks.

I wouldnt say the new lib is the best or worst thing subaru have ever designed.
but it would look a lot better with smaller head lights....or with the eyelids in other photochop posts.

I think it's true that things tend to grow on you... the STI above is the best shot I've seen yet, but they all look bulky and heavy. I was looking for more interior space to fit Two toddlers and luggage, but I confess I am still hoping for improved power and torque with little increase in weight. Even if the new car has come close to the same weight, it really doesn't look it, and why produce a slab sided big wheel arch (that now needs 22's to fill them) doofus, to replace what has been understood to be one of the last lithe, svelte and sexy wagons of this current era...
IT's OK, But.......

If you do it Suby- make it less than 1600kg, more than 220kw and at least 400nm and I will forgive you the aesthetic atrocities...
Whiteline rear sway, King lows, Custom quad tip muffs, Subi sport grill, HID's, Boost guage, JL slot port 12" off the standard mac, RB3l 18's ezeflash tune 150.9kw@4w 15psi 36degC...
